RAMALLAH - 5 January 2018: Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has approved a new plan to expand Israeli settlements and housing units in all parts of the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli government offered earlier 900 new housing units in the city of Ariel for marketing.

The Civil Administration’s High Planning Subcommittee is set to hold a meeting in the next week to give the green light to the housing plans of additional 225 units in various additional settlements as well as to endorse subsequent plans of building about 1,145 new housing units in the settlements of the West Bank, an Israeli senior official was quoted by the Israeli Channel 10 on Friday.
