CAIRO - 25 Nov. 2017: Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt Ivan Surkos said the EU flags flew at half-mast in respect to victims of the "horrible terrorist attack" that targeted Rawda mosque in North Sinai.

"EU will continue supporting Egypt in the fight against terrorism, achieving sustainable stability, growth and social economic development," Surkos said Saturday on his official Twitter account.

Gunmen attacked the mosque during Friday's prayers, leaving 305 persons dead and 128 others injured.
