CAIRO – 25 November 2017: Canada’s CN tower has been lit up with colors of the Egyptian flag in tribute to the lives that were lost to the terrorist attack that targeted Friday prayer worshippers at Al-Rawdah Mosque, west of Al-Arish.

On Friday, Eiffel Tower in Paris dimmed its lights in mourning of the victims of the attack that left over 200 killed and dozens injured. The initial reports showed that the attackers used RPGs and automatic rifles.

A group of 15 armed terrorists broke into Al-Rawdah Mosque in Al-Arish City, leaving at least 235 dead and 125 injured.

According to eye witnesses, the terrorists came out initially riding two all-terrain vehicles, which they ditched 150 meters away from the crime scene. They detonated a bomb outside the mosque and then opened fire at panicked prayers.
