Finnish FM: We support National Council for Women in Egypt

CAIRO – 9 November 2017: The NGOs and the society shall take part in efforts to support women, Finnish Foreign Minister Timo Soini said Wednesday.

Finland backs the National Council for Women in Egypt in the face of challenges, he added.

Addressing the audience of a forum held under the rubric of “Women in Egypt-2017: The way forward” at the American University in Cairo, Soini said Finland had organized a program to empower women, highlighting the importance of gender equality.
