CAIRO – 22 October 2017: Egyptian Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar received a phone call on Sunday from his Saudi counterpart Saud bin Nayef, where the latter condemned Giza terrorist attack.

Nayef expressed his deepest condolences for the families of the victims of Giza terrorist attack, wishing a quick recover for the injured Security troops.

The Saudi Minister of Interior asserted the Kingdom’s support for any measures taken by the Egyptian state to protect its National Security and curb the terrorist militants who operate terrorist attacks targeting security bodies.

The Egyptian Interior Ministry has released a statement in which it announced that 17 security officers were killed during clashes with militants in the Western Desert in the early hours of Saturday, which led to the killing of 15 militants.
