KHARTOUM - 22 Sep 2017: Sundanese President Omar al Bashir pledged to solve the problems and respond to the demands of displaced people who seek to return to their villages.

Addressing a large rally in the Kalema Camp in Bilail locality in South Darfur, Bashir said the Sudanese authorities will continue to collect unlicensed weapons and uphold justice and rule of law.

He directed Darfur authorities to respond to the demands of displaced people, including the provision of land plots for those who do not wish to return to their homes.

Bashir urged the youth and women in the camps to maintain security and stability, and help in the process of development and reconstruction.
