DAMASCUS - 18 August 2017: The Syrian Armed Forces were able to regain control of four oil fields from terrorist Daesh group in the countrysides of Homs and Hama cities in west and west-central of Syria respectively, Russia Today (RT) channel reported on Friday.

The Syrian army joined with Al Radefah forces advanced against Daesh militants in Al Swana hill, eastern the countryside of Homs, Syrian media sources told RT.

Both forces clashed with Daesh militants in the village of Al Fasda in eastern countryside of Al Salamiyah city, as well as in Al Swana, during the past few hours, the sources said.
