KHARTOUM - 17 August 2017: Sudanese Vice President Hasabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman probed with Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn here on Thursday means of boosting bilateral relations for the best interests of the two peoples.

In statements, the director of the office of the Sudanese vice president Abdelrahman Hamza said that the meeting took up achieving peace in the Horn of Africa region especially South Sudan.

The two sides discussed also agreements and protocols inked between the two countries within the framework of the joint higher committee which the Sudanese president and Ethiopian premier pay great attention to.

They agreed to hold a new session of the committee's meetings here in September.

Meanwhile, Sudan and Ethiopia agreed to activate a joint cooperation agreement in the media field.

This came during the meeting held between Sudanese Media Minister Ahmed Bilal Othman and his his Ethiopian counterpart in Khartoum.

In statements, the Sudanese media minister underlined that it was agreed to activate joint cooperation agreements in the media field via exchanging expertise.
