CAIRO – 14 July 2017: As many as 1,289 Egyptian pilgrims have arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and 4,565 others in Medina, Egypt’s Consul General in Jeddah Hazem Ramadan said on Monday.

The number of the Egyptian pilgrims for this year's Hajj season is expected to reach 78,000, Ramadan said.

The Egyptian medical mission has established 35 clinics in the holy city of Mecca and one in Medina to follow up the health condition of the pilgrims, he added.

The Consulate has formed an operations room to receive complaints and inquiries of pilgrims around the clock, he said.
