Chinese amb. discusses preparations for Sisi's anticipated visit

CAIRO– 10 August 2017: Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS) Diaa Rashwan discussed with Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo the latest preparations for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s anticipated visit to China in September, the SIS said in a Thursday statement.

During his visit, Sisi will participate in the dialogue between BRICS members, emerging markets and developing economies, to be held in Xiamen city.

The meeting also tackled preparing for Cairo’s participation in the third China-Arab States Expo to be held in Yinchuan, in which Egypt will be the guest of honor.

The two sides, meanwhile, probed means of fostering cooperation between Cairo and Beijing in several fields, the statement noted.
