76 Houthi militants killed, wounded in raids in Yemen

SANAA - 5 August 2017: As many as 31 Houthi militants were killed, while 45 others were wounded in battles and raids launched by the Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah governorate in northwest Yemen, The army said on Saturday.

Yemeni forces thwarted an attack by militants attempting to break a siege imposed on them in Medi city, Al Arabiya television quoted the Yemeni army as saying.

Jet fighters of the Arab coalition launched raids targeting military vehicles, weapons stores and positions of Houthi militants.

Meantime, the Yemeni army advanced in six districts near Taiz province after clashes with Houthi militants, military sources said.
