RAMALLAH - 17 July 2017: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday the electronic security checkpoints installed at the entrances to Al Aqsa compound will remain.

Netanyahu told reporters that the metal detectors and cameras will remain in place.

Netanyahu said that the regional conditions do not allow a change to the holy mosque's "status quo".
