MOSCOW, Nov 27 (MENA) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's working visit to Minsk, scheduled for November 27-28, has been postponed due to the death of Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei, Tass news agency reported quoting the Russian Foreign Ministry on Sunday.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday that Makei had died suddenly at 64. Spokesperson Anatoly Glaz announced without providing further details.

Earlier Sunday, Sergey Lavrov expressed his condolences on the untimely death of Vladimir Makei. He sent a telegram of condolences to his colleague’s wife.
