Egypt sends military plane with medical supplies to Lebanon's control of cholera epidemic

CAIRO - 10 November 2022: An Egyptian military transport plane took off from East Cairo Air Base, loaded with large quantities of medicines and medical supplies provided by the Ministry of Health and Population to the brotherly Lebanese people, to help them control the outbreak of a cholera epidemic.

 

This comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to support the Lebanese brothers in confronting the outbreak of the cholera epidemic. 

 

The Lebanese officials expressed their appreciation for the continuous Egyptian efforts, and support provided by the Egyptian government to the State of Lebanon, to help it control this epidemic. 

 

The Egyptian support provided to the Lebanese side is an affirmation of the strength of the historical ties that unite Egypt and Lebanon.
