CAIRO - 25 October 2022:  Egypt condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a hotel in the city of Kismayo in southern Somalia, which killed nine people and wounded 47 others, the Egyptian  Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

 

 

Egypt expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Somalia and to the families of the victims in this “tragic accident”, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, said Egyptian  Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid in the statement.

 

 

Abu Zeid reiterated Egypt's call upon the international community to unite to eradicate terrorism and dry up its sources of funding and support.
