Madbouli: Presidential directives to open, operate 1st phase of 500500 tumor hospital

CAIRO, Oct 16 (MENA) - There are presidential directives to open and operate the first phase of "500500" tumor hospital in Sheikh Zayed City in cooperation with the civil society, said Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli Sunday.

Madbouli's statements came during a meeting he held to follow up on the executive status of the project in the presence of Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Minister of Higher Education Ayman Ashour as well as the officials of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority (AFEA).

The building will accommodate, once fully completed, 340 rooms with 680 beds and 20 operation rooms, said AFEA officials.
