CAIRO, Sept 28 (MENA) - The Cabinet's media center has denied reports purporting issuance of a decision to cancel treatment at State expense in the various governorates.

In a statement issued Wednesday the Cabinet said no decision was issued to this effect.

Treatment at State expense, as well as offering of free-off charge medical services continue at all governorates, the statement said.

In August some 340,333 decisions of treatment at State expense were issued across the various governorates, worth of EGP 1.4 bn, it added.

The statement called on social media users to verify the authenticity of news before publishing them to avoid stirring public opinion.

It also urged citizens to call the ministry on its number (02/ 25354150) for any inquiry and contact the Cabinet's media center on 01155508688 - 01155508851 or via its website (rumors@idsc.net.eg) to report any fake news.
