CAIRO - 24 August 2022: Luxor inaugurated last year Al-Baghdadi Industrial Complex that opened the eyes of the city to the world of industry, after it had solely relied on tourism sector. 
 
The complex was established on an area of ​​49.17 acres, equivalent to 206,512 square meters, and the total implementation rate of the project was 100%, as the complex includes 206 various units of different areas to serve young investors.
 
In this regard, the Al-Baghdadi Industrial Complex in Luxor Governorate is witnessing work in full swing to serve investors and youth, as more than 60 industrial units have been allocated inside. A total of 8 factories were opened inside the complex over the past period, including work in bottling oils, making shoes, covers, inspection rooms, sanitation, snacks, pasta, suitcases, clothes, furniture, pourtly products, meat and others.
 
For his part, Counselor Mostafa Alham, Governor of Luxor stated that he considers Al-Baghdadi Industrial Complex to be the first industrial project in Luxor Governorate during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which is Luxor's first steps on the road to industry and the new future.
 
It was presented to investors in the first industrial zone in Luxor Governorate. The complex has so far succeeded in providing more than 400 job opportunities for maintenance and security engineers, workers, services, industrial and individuals in various factories, and those numbers are still subject to increase with the opening of more small and medium factories in the first complex of its kind in Luxor.
 
The governor of Luxor adds that the complex was implemented on an area of ​​206 thousand square meters, and includes about 206 units with areas ranging between 284 and 480 meters, which include a number of industrial activities such as decorative building materials, office tools, electrical, engineering, textiles, and paper, besides, some mining industries, food industries, masks, paper cups and other industries.
