7 ambassadors attend opening of 1st Ismailia Mango Festival

CAIRO - 20 August 2022: Seven ambassadors of foreign countries attended the opening of the first mango festival in Ismailia. 
 
A city in northeastern Egypt, Ismailia is the main mango-growing area, known for producing the finest mangoes.
 
The soil and climate of Ismailia are especially favorable for the cultivation of Egyptian mangoes. The city of “Beauty and Enrichment” includes vast areas of fertile agricultural land, producing the most famous Ismaili mangoes.
 
at the opening of the first Ismailia Mango Festival thanked Major General Sherif Fahmy Bishara, Governor of Ismailia, for the good reception and organization of the festival.
 
Major General Sherif Fahmy Bishara, Governor of Ismailia, received Major General Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, and a number of ambassadors of countries (New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Jordan and Sri Lanka), to attend the celebration ceremony for the first mango festival 2022, which is being held for the first time on the governorate's land, and in the presence of Engineer Ahmed Essam El-Din, Deputy Ismailia Governor.
 
The ambassadors expressed their happiness for attending the festival and the warm reception.
 
Bishara pointed out that Ismailia governorate is primarily an agricultural governorate because of its distinct and unique crops, including strawberries, oranges, sesame and peanuts, wishing the governorate's guests to enjoy the festival and tourist places and spend a special time in the governorate.
 
Major General Sherif Fahmy Bishara, Governor of Ismailia, accompanied by Major General Mohamed Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, and the ambassadors of 7 countries, namely, New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and the representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, inspected the Ismailia Festival exhibition held at the Golf Club of the Suez Canal Authority, which lasts for two days; Friday and Saturday.
 
The idea of ​​the festival came after the success of the Spring Festival and the Princesses of Strawberry, and the immediate preparations of the governorate began in coordination towards the issuance of the first edition of the Mango Festival.
 
The festival aims to market the mango product, promote the Ismailia Governorate for tourism and open new investment horizons.
 
Fresh Egyptian mango is one of the most nutritionally rich fruits, with a distinctive flavor, smell and taste, which is why Egyptian mango is a unique fruit, with an incomparable tropical delicacy.

Golden yellow, crimson red, orange-red, or green; regardless of its color, the “fruit of the Gods” according to Indians, is always finger-licking good. Mango’s overwhelming taste will overcome your senses, even before you remind yourself to eat in moderation.
