CAIRO - 13 August 2022: The Meteorological Authority expected Saturday, to witness a noticeable rise in humidity percentage throughout the day, which increases the sense of high temperatures with values ​​ranging from 2: 4 degrees.
 
According to the authority, Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, will feel very hot weather, while the weather will be moderately hot and humid in the northern coasts. 
 
The Meteorological Authority stated that today, there will be a continuous rise in humidity during the day, which will increase the feeling of weather heat than expected in the shade, with values ​​ranging between 2: 4 degrees, with wind activity sometimes in some areas, which reduces the feeling of high temperatures and humidity at night.
 
There will also be wind activity on the coasts of the Mediterranean on Matrouh and El Alamein, which will lead to waves rising with values ​​ranging from 1.5: 2 meters.
 
Accordingly, meteorologists warned against direct exposure to sunlight to prevent an increase in the feeling of heat, and the need to wear cotton clothes and drink cold drinks to compensate for the percentage of water lost from the body.

Greater Cairo records highs of 34 degrees, felt 37 degrees and lows 23 degrees
 
Alexandria records highs of 31 degrees, felt 35 degrees and lows of 24 degrees
 
Matrouh records highs of 30 degrees, felt 33 degrees, and lows of 24 degrees
 
Sohag records highs of 38 degrees, felt 40 degrees, and lows of 27 degrees
 
Qena records highs of 40 degrees, felt 42 degrees, and highs of 28 degrees
 
Aswan records highs of 41 degrees, felt 42 degrees, and highs of 29 degrees
