CAIRO - 12 August 2022: Spokesperson for the Coordination Committee of Parties' Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) Musab Amin said youth issues have been at the top of national priorities since President Abdel Fattah El Sisi took the helm in 2014.

Marking the International Youth Day on Friday, Amin told MENA that President Sisi's decision to declare 2016 as the "Year of Egyptian Youth" clearly shows that the State is keen on giving more space for young people and empower them at the political, social and economic levels.

In this regard, he pointed to the Presidential Program for Youth Leadership, which was launched in September 2015 to qualify young people to assume leading positions.

Amin stated that national youth conferences provided a means of communication between youth and the State to benefit from their ideas in decision-making circles.
