CAIRO - 7 July 2022: Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has directed to put all hospitals on high alert during Eidul Adha and ensure coordination between the ministry’s affiliated and university hospitals during the holy occasion.

The acting minister’s remarks came on Tuesday at the weekly meeting of the Health Ministry to follow up on health issues and discuss a number of important files, including precautionary health measures during the week-long Eidul Adha holiday.

Abdel Ghaffar said that medical teams have been formed nationwide to deal with any contingencies that may occur during the vacation.

He asserted that ambulances equipped with oxygen and medical supplies are spread across desert and coastal roads to serve all citizens everywhere.

He also gave directives to intensify campaigns and increase the number of nurses and medical staffers to ensure providing the best health services for citizens during this holy occasion.
