CAIRO – 20 June 2022: Mahmoud Abdel Hamid Nour El-Din, known as Mahmoud Lala, said has been training for the past four years, to prepare himself to compete for the title of the Strongest jaw in the world in the Guinness Book of World Records.

 

Mahmoud Lala announced that he was able to pull a plane, weighs 14 tons and 175 kilograms, after tying it with a robe, and placing the robe between his jaws, and dragging the plane for a distance of about 6.20 meters.

 

By this record, Lala beats a Russian competitor’s record of pulling a plane, weighing 10 tons, for a distance of 5 meters.

 

He said in a TV interview that his record of pulling the plane was attended by the Minister of Sports and the Minister of Aviation, adding that he broke the record without rehearsing beforehand on the plane pull.

 

"I am proud of my country that I am Egyptian, and I dedicate the victory to all the people of Egypt, led by His Excellency the President, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Major General Mohamed Sami, head of the Educational Materials Support Fund," he said.

 

On June 14th, Egyptian wrestler Ashraf Mahrous, known as Kabonga, undergone a new challenge of pulling 6 metro vehicles, weighing approximately 220 tons, aiming to register a new record at Guinness Book.

 

Mahrous, of Ismailia governorate, was officially listed on the Guinness World Records for Heavies Road vehicle, when he pulled with his teeth a truck 15 tons on June 13th, breaking the previous record by an Indian who pulled 13 tons only.
