CAIRO – 12 June 2022: Egyptian Foreign minister Sameh Shoukry will receive, Sunday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgar Rinkevich in Cairo, said the Egyptian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Saturday.

 

Both Ministers will hold a session of discussion at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in downtown Cairo at 11:00 am, the statement said.

 

Afterward, a joint press statement will convene for the two Ministers to reveal the outcomes of their bilateral meetings, the statement continued.

 

In July 2020, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ratified an agreement on the mutual exemption from entry visas for holders of diplomatic passports between the governments of Egypt and Latvia, Egyptian state-owned news agency MENA reported.
