CAIRO - 6 June 2022: Egypt seeks an African scientific, technical, pharmaceutical and vaccine partnership to localize the industry of manufacturing all types of vaccines, said Adviser to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din. 
 
He explained that only 17 percent received COVID vaccination in Africa, due to the lack of availability despite the abundance of funds, adding that it is very important to settle vaccines manufacturing in the continent. 
 
Adviser Taj el-Din said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s initiative to provide 30 million doses of the Corona vaccine to the brothers in Africa, is part of the Egyptian support for the countries of the continent, especially since Africa is still suffering so far from not obtaining good proportions of corona vaccines.
 
The advisor to the President of the Republic also stated that all types of vaccines are present in Egypt, and the state manufactures some vaccines in cooperation with a Chinese company on its soil. 
 
"Egypt has high-level medical and pharmaceutical cadres that can work and support Africa," he added. 
 
With regard to comprehensive health insurance, he said: "Every citizen in Egypt will be covered by comprehensive health insurance comprehensive coverage, and this is a very important, civilized and medical medical security point, because the disease comes suddenly, and therefore every person wants to ensure the provision of a medical and pharmaceutical service, and health insurance is a system will satisfy the beneficiary and service providers, and will be extended over the coming years."
 
Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj El-Din, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs, praised the first African Medical Conference, saying that it has many views to present a very big positive aspect of health in Egypt, as well as the achievements that have been made, including the elimination of Hepatitis C.
 
The advisor to the President of the Republic explained that Egypt has succeeded in eliminating malaria along with schistosomiasis, in addition to many other diseases that were present in Egypt. " What is important is that there is a kind of integration, consensus and self-confidence between Africans," he added. 
 
Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din continued: "We are establishing huge number of medicine factories in addition to the Egyptian Medicine City, which produces many medicines. We even started the production of powerful biotechnology medicines that can cover Egypt and Africa.
