CAIRO – 22 May 2022: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli underlined the importance of efforts exerted to implement "Egypt Future" agriculture production project, especially amid current international challenges that resulted in an increase in food prices.

At the onset of a Cabinet meeting Wednesday, the prime minister said the project that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated Saturday on Cairo-Dabaa road would help in reducing exports, thus save foreign currency.

Madbouli extended his thanks to the armed Forces for their efforts in contribution to the project.

Meantime, he noted that the official website for the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNCCC) COP27 will be launched within few days.

Also ways to overcome the current economic impact of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict figured high on the meeting, in addition to the government efforts to enhance the private sector's contribution to the economy, increase investments and boost industry.

According to Madbouli , the cabinet is putting final touches on the State ownership policy draft document, ahead of being forwarding for further discussions.

He also referred to a number of meetings meant to follow up on road construction and expansion ventures.
