Egypt to witness rainfall, active wind

CAIRO – 4 May 2022:  Egypt expected to witness, Thursday unstable weather, where light rain will fall in some areas, along with active winds in the north of the country, Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.

Sand and dust expected to cover southern Upper Egypt at intermittent periods.

Hot weather expected to prevails in Greater Cairo, and northern and upper Egypt, meanwhile moderate heat will be felt on the northern coasts and central Sinai, hot in southern Sinai, very hot in southern Upper Egypt.

The wave height in The Mediterranean and Red Sea expected to reach to 2.5 meters.

During Eid al-Fitr, Egypt has witnessed hot weather during daytime, with a tendency to be cold at night.
