CAIRO - 27 April 2022: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli Wednesday praised the latest agricultural breakthrough in Toshka, noting coordination among the state bodies concerned to control procedures of wheat harvest.


During the weekly cabinet meeting, Madbouli hailed the continued consultations between the political leadership in Egypt and the Arab leaders.

He reviewed the latest regional and international developments and the outcome of the Egyptian Family Iftar in terms of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi.

Sisi greeted all Egyptian Christians and Muslims on blessed holidays during the Egyptian family iftar. As part of the annual event, which is presented by representatives of all segments of the Egyptian society Sisi shed light on the challenges Egypt has faced since 2011. “During the past years we faced great challenges; however, our successes were greater,” Sisi said.

Sisi said that without the Arab 'brotherly' countries’ support in 2013 and the following years, Egypt would not have succeeded to overcome its challenge. “The Arab country’s support helped us to preserve the Egyptian state” Sisi said.

He noted that the next period will witness huge support for the private sector to play its role in developing the economy, as he [president Sisi] will make sure to provide everything necessary towards achieving this.

Sisi directed the government to announce a program for private sector participation in state-owned assets with a target of $10 billion annually for a period of 4 years

Sisi directed the government to start offering shares from state-owned companies on EGX.

President Sisi also directed to complete paying off the private debts to number of debtors.
