Egypt to witness rise in temperature during first 3 days of Ramadan

CAIRO - 30 March 2022: Egypt's official forecast authority warned citizens that the country will be witnessing a rise in temperature during the first three days of the holy month of Ramadan, which is expected to begin on Saturday. 
 
According to the authority, Wednesday will witness a 2-degree increase in temperature, with Cairo recording highs of 27 degrees Celsius.  
 
The weather is hot during the day on Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, warm on the northern coasts, and hot on southern Upper Egypt and South Sinai, while a cold weather to prevail at night. 
 
Affected by air masses coming from the south and east of the desert of the Arabian Peninsula, the country is witnessing a noticeable rise in temperature, starting next Friday and Saturday. 
 
An extremely hot weather during the day continues until Sundays and Mondays, with the maximum over Greater Cairo reaching 36 degrees celsius.
