CAIRO – 17 March 2022: Cairo Stadium is witnessing a security deployment to secure the 2022 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup set to kick off Thursday at Cairo Stadium, and will last until March 21.

 

The security teams of the African group formed operating rooms to follow up and secure the matches, create a safe environment for the participants, and show a civilized scene of Egypt.

 

The Indoor Hall Complex at Cairo International Stadium will host the 2022 World Cup for Artistic Gymnastics, for men and women, which will be held from 17 to 21 March.

 

A total of 281 participants will take part in the matches, representing 35 countries, led by Ukraine, despite the current circumstances.

 

The participating countries are: Egypt (hosting country), Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Morocco, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, America, Uzbekistan, India and Qatar.

 

The 2022 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is a series of competitions officially organized and promoted by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) in 2022.
