CAIRO – 18 March 2022: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a phone call with Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, on Wednesday evening to be reassured about the health of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
 
President Sisi wished King Salman, who underwent medical check after replacing his pacemaker, continued good health and wellness, said Egyptian Presidency in a statement.
 
Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his profound appreciation for President El-Sisi’s sincere wishes that point to the depth and uniqueness of Egyptian-Saudi relations, as well as the solid and extended ties that unite the two peoples, the statement said.
 
King Salman left the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh on Wednesday morning after he underwent some successful medical tests and changed the battery of the pacemaker [a small device that's placed (implanted) in the chest to help control the heartbeat], SPA reported.
