2K Egyptian students returning from Ukraine registered to complete studies in Egypt

CAIRO – 14 March 2022: Egyptian Ministry of Immigration began Monday receiving papers of Egyptian students returning from Ukraine.

 

More than 2,000 students have registered their data so far, and coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education is being made in this regard.

 

This comes in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives, to study the conditions of Egyptian students studying in Ukrainian universities, and find solutions to help those students who wish to transfer to Egyptian universities, taking into account the exceptional circumstances that Ukraine is currently facing.

 

Regulations organizing this process were approved by the cabinet, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 

Students can register through a link for the unified registration form for students studying in Ukraine: (https://forms .gle/4nYrQMhja4gMYotT8).

 

The Minister of Immigration Nabila Makram stressed the importance of adhering to all the controls previously announced by the cabinet, along with bringing all identification papers, a passport with registered residence in Ukraine before February 24, 2022, as well as a proof of enrollment in the academic year and specialization in Ukrainian universities.

 

The Minister of Immigration added that the receipt and examination of papers will be carried out in the presence of a representative of the Council of Private and Private Universities, on a daily basis “except on Friday and Saturday” for a period of two weeks, from 10 am to 3 pm daily.

 

She further explained the unified form submitted to register students studying in Ukraine, to discuss and study their demands, includes the details of students: (school year - specialization - place of residence, etc.), and all students in Ukraine wishing to transfer to Egyptian universities should quickly complete it, paying attention to the accuracy of the data provided.
