CAIRO – 7 March 2022: A flight carrying 174 Egyptians evacuated from Ukraine landed at Cairo International Airport on Monday coming Poland.

Powered by Air Cairo airliner, the flight was tasked with returning Egyptians who crossed the Ukrainian borders to neighboring European countries after the outbreak of the Russian- Ukrainian war. This comes in implementation of the directives by the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to evacuate stranded Egyptians there.

The Quarantine Department, headed by Dr. Hazem Hussein, has allocated a medical staff to examine the Egyptian passengers, and conduct analyzes for those who do not have a certificate of vaccination against the Corona virus, especially since they have been displaced for several days from Ukrainian cities to neighboring countries, and gathered in the Polish capital, Warsaw.
