CAIRO – 23 February 2022: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made an inspection tour early this morning of the Military College’s headquarters in Cairo, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar, and a number of Armed Forces commanders accompanied Sisi during his tour.

The president followed up on the training programs for the students of the Military College participating in the morning exercise and held an open dialogue with the students.

The open dialogue addressed the state’s efforts on the domestic and foreign levels to enhance the current development in Egypt as well as to achieve stability in the region in light of the various regional challenges.

The president also discussed with the students the efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation between Egypt and all countries of the world, including at the military level.

Sisi highlighted the regional issues and constants that the Egyptian policy is based on and Egypt’s openness to establishing balanced and moderate relations with the major powers in order to achieve peace and security.

The President urged the Military College students to continue to maintain their fitness and high physical and mental readiness.

He also urged them to show the noble military values ​​that have long characterized the Egyptian Armed Forces, including discipline, commitment, and desire to receive education and knowledge to become a role model for other young people.

Sisi saluted the brave men of the Egyptian Armed Forces for their sacrifices and sincere efforts to preserve the security and stability of the homeland and preserve the capabilities of the great Egyptian people, the spokesman said.
