CAIRO – 20 February 2022: Gaza Strip received Sunday 500,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine produced by VACSERA as a gift from Egypt and China.  

 

A ceremony was held on that occasion at the headquarters of VACSERA in Cairo, and was attended by Acting Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Assistant to Minister of Foreign Affairs for Arab Affairs Alaa Mousa, Chinese Ambassador in Cairo Liao Liqiang, and Palestinian Consul Nedaa al-Barghouthy.

 

The donation was announced during consultations between Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry, and his Chinese counterpart held in Cairo in July 2021.
