CAIRO – 17 February 2022: Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has made a visit to Luxor to enjoy the charming Pharaonic civilization in the Upper Egyptian governorate and the warmth of the winter weather in Egypt.

Sarkozy chose Luxor to spend a special vacation with his family. He was welcomed at Luxor International Airport upon arrival with friendliness and his arrival procedures was facilitated.

Sarkozy's visit to Luxor this year is not his first, as he spent a family vacation late in 2007 in the Egyptian city, accompanied by former model and Italian-French singer Carla Bruni, his wife since 2008.
