CAIRO – 9 February 2022: Minister of Environment Yasmin Fouad met with Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar Enaba Wednesday to learn about the plan set to transport the COP27 attendees to Sharm El Sheikh in November.

The civil aviation minister said that the number of flights between Cairo and the resort town will be raised, and that some staff would be assigned to accelerate the check-in and boarding procedures for the guests at the airports. Further, EgyptAir's travel agency "Al Karnak" will offer tourist packages to them.

The ministry will also help promote the event by installing relevant stickers on jets, and by streaming promotional videos on the airports' screens. That is in addition to banners.
