CAIRO - 30 January 2022: All tourism sector employees should take the third booster dose of Covid-19 vaccines within the upcoming period, said Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister and Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.


The minister, meanwhile, followed up the rates of messages sent for those who have received two doses of vaccines and have passed a six-month period.

This came during a periodic meeting held with health ministers' aides along with health directorates officials to follow up the vaccination process and make sure of the availability of vaccine doses nationwide.

Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, meanwhile, said that coordination was maintained with the Education Ministry to inoculate children, aged between 12 and 18, in the second semester, after taking the approval of their parents.

The governorates of Beheira, Gharbiya and Giza topped the highest rates of children's vaccinations, noted the spokesman.
