Egypt’s President Sisi receives Senegalese counterpart Macky Sall in Cairo

CAIRO- 29 January 2022:  President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received his Senegalese counterpart Macky Sall on Saturday in Cairo, said Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady in a post on the Facebook page. 

 

Upon his arrival in Cairo, Salll was officially welcomed by President Sisi, while the presidential guards held a parade and played the national anthems of both countries.

Both Presidents witnessed the signing of a number of bilateral agreements.

 

On May 19, 2021, President Sisi and Sall talked on phone and agreed on joint coordination on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam issue and on stronger economic ties.
