CAIRO – 20 January 2022: In the framework of Egypt’s measures to incorporate digital transformation concept in all state’s departments and services, Port Said is now delivering official papers, government services to citizens homes.

Long queues and hard routines had been for long time a dilemma for many citizens when heading to government-affiliated entities to issue documents or finish an errand.

Egypt has been taking firm measures to adopt digitalization, providing governmental services to citizens at ease and in a short period of time.

In Port Said, one of the first governorates that adopted digital transformation, there are technological centers, where citizens head to obtain documents and perform any governmental services or electronic payment via mobile phone, as well as had required papers delivered to their homes.

Mansour Bakri, Head of Al-Manakh District in Port Said, said that in less than a month, the unified licensing building will be ready to receive citizens who wish to license buildings or pay governmental dues.
