Bahraini king lauds efforts exerted by President Sisi to reinforce stability at regional and international levels

CAIRO - 19 January 2022: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday a phone call from King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, during which the two leaders exchanged views on regional issues of mutual concern.

The Bahraini king lauded efforts exerted by President Sisi to reinforce security and stability at the regional and international levels, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

The two leaders stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to face challenges besetting the region to maintain Arab national security, the spokesman added.

For his part, President Sisi praised ties with Bahrain, affirming the need for unifying stances to serve Arab issues.

Gulf security is an integral part of Egypt's national security, Sisi told the king.
