CAIRO - 7 January 2022: Egypt’s First Lady Entissar El Sisi wished the Egyptian Coptic Christians a merry glorious Christmas.
 
“Many happy returns to the Egyptian people and the Coptic brothers for the occasion of the glorious Christmas celebrations, which reflect Egyptian people’s brotherhood, love and human coexistence among the believers of the divine religions,” she wrote on her official Facebook page on Friday.
 
“I pray to God on this honorable occasion to preserve Egypt and its people from evil. Happy New Year,” she added.
 
At the Christmas Mass in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in the New Administrative Capital on Coptic Christmas Eve, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi wish Egyptians a Merry Christmas, calling upon all Egyptians to stay united and not to allow anyone to cause any strife between them.
 
“We started a new path in Egypt which is ‘the new republic path’ that accommodates everyone without discrimination,” Sisi said.
 
President Sisi prayed to God to protect Egypt, saying: “I pray to God to protect our country and help me to be an honest, honorable servant for it.”
