CAIRO- 23 December 2021:  Chaired by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, the Egyptian government will hold its first meeting at its new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital on Thursday.

The meeting comes in light of the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives regarding the start of the gradual transition of the governmental bodies to the new administrative capital by the end of December.

The Prime Minister had previously confirmed that a number of ministries had already received their new buildings, where they would begin a six-month pilot operation.

Advisor to Prime Minister for Administrative Reform Hani Mahmoud said in September that all employees will be transferred to the New Administrative Capital before the end of the year.

He further added that the employees received high-quality training as part of the country’s programs that adopt the digital transformation approach.
