CAIRO – 18 December 2021: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects unstable weather over the coming days, especially Sudan and Monday in various parts in the country.

The governorates of Matrouh and Beheira in northern Egypt were forced to suspend schools on Sunday due to unstable weather. Alexandria will suspend schools on Sunday and Monday.

The EMA expects drop in temperature, probable rainfall, and dust-wind over the coming 48 hours.

The EMA says the dust-wind will affect vision.

Alexandria and Matrouh have witnessed over the past period heavy rains. In Alexandria, streets were flooded and classes were suspended several times.
