CAIRO – 7 December 2021: Egypt received two mobile medical clinics from the United States of America, in order to strengthen measures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus.

The two clinics consist of analysis laboratories and corona tests supplied by the US government.

During the reception ceremony, the Director of the Medical Services Department of the Armed Forces delivered a speech in which he stressed the continued keenness to support relations of cooperation between Egypt and America in various fields, expressing thanks for that gift, which shows the extent of the solidarity of the American side with Egypt in its war against one of the most important humanitarian disasters resulting from the spread of the pandemic.

It is scheduled that the two clinics will be used in favor of supporting the measures to confront the Corona virus that the Egyptian government is taking to limit its spread in Egypt, and it is expected that it will have a significant impact in supporting the medical sector.

Egypt had sent shipments of medical aid to the United States, including medicines and medical supplies, to confront the pandemic, within the framework of medical cooperation between the two sides.

This comes as an affirmation of the continued coordination between the Egyptian government and the U.S. government, which reflects the depth and interdependence of relations between the two countries.
