CAIRO - 21 November 2021:  ِEgypt’s Ministry of Health announced the state of emergency at all hospitals nationwide due to the bad weather that Egypt witnesses, said Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry of Health spokesperson, on Saturday.

In media remarks on Saturday, He added that acting Minister of Health and Population Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar ordered to cancel the vacations for the medical staff in hospitals.

Many other governorates, including Alexandria, Alexandria, Qalyubia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Matrouh, and Menoufia witnessed unstable weather and heavy rains, which led to a suspension of schools on Sunday.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects instability in weather conditions to ease by Sunday, while the temperature is expected to drop in these areas.

Mild to moderate rainfall will also continue in the northern coasts and northern Delta, according to the EMA expectations.
