CAIRO – 19 November 2021: Egypt is expected to witness a state of unstable weather and moderate rain, possibly accompanied with thunder, on the northern parts on Saturday and Sunday.

According to a report by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority on Thursday, mild to moderate rainfall is expected on parts of the Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.

Moderate rainfall is also expected on the area of the Gulf of Suez on Sunday.

Moderate to heavy rainfall, possibly accompanied with thunder, is expected on the northern coasts and parts of northern Egypt, the EMA said.

The traffic department ordered an emergency room in anticipation of rainfall and deployed traffic cranes to remove obstacles from streets.
