CAIRO - 14 November 2021:  Egyptian President directed the government to apply the up-to-date exhibition techniques at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in a manner consistent with its value and importance as the largest museum in the world, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Radi in a statement on Sunday.

President Sisi was briefed on the executive position of the Grand Egyptian Museum project, Radi added.

In a cabinet meeting held in September 2021, President Sisi had given directives to finalize the construction of the museum in line with the latest techniques and trends to reflect the magnitude of the ancient Egyptian civilization.

The entire world is highly anticipating the official launch of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The Grand Egyptian Museum will house more than 50,000 artifacts including all the personal holdings of the Golden King Tutankhamun, all gathered for the first time in one place.

In addition, visitors will enjoy numerous displays for the first time in Egypt and the world, including the Great Staircase, the Hanging Obelisk, Khufu’s 2nd Solar Ship, and more.
