The president also affirmed the Egyptian state's backing to the Public Prosecution, and all judicial entities. Moreover, he "presented Egypt's comprehensive vision on cross-border cooperation, and that is rooted in the respect for differences in cultures, traditions, customs, and values among peoples," the presidency press statement indicates.

The Egyptian chief of state underlined the salience of such type of cooperation for combating terrorism while public prosecutors showcased that adopting the most modern mechanisms to face transnational crimes will also help fighting money laundering and not just terror.

In that context, President Sisi affirmed Egypt's support to Africa Prosecutors Association (APA) and Arab Association for Prosecutors (AAP) to bolster joint work in that field.

The Public Prosecution holds on November 7-9 an international conference on the role of public prosecution authorities on combating cross-border crimes under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

The event includes the 15th meeting of African public prosecutors, and the first meeting of Arab public prosecutors.

The first meeting of the National Focal Points of the AAP Discussions covered the preparations for the Annual General Meeting of the Arab Association for Prosecutors, enhancing collaboration between the Arab Association for Prosecutors’ Focal points, and the future cooperation with the Counter-Terrorism in the Middle East and North Africa Project (CT MENA) and NAIF Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS).

The conference includes the Egyptian Public Prosecution, which is the chair of Africa Prosecutors Association (APA) and Arab Association for Prosecutors (AAP). It is held in collaboration with the International Organization of Migration (IOM), the Counter-Terrorism in the Middle East and North Africa Project (CT Mena) and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (Nauss).
