Assistant Foreign Minister Yaser Reda welcomed the visit of the delegation and lauded this step that reflects deeply-rooted ties between both countries.

Last March, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el Sisi directed the government to ensure that all architectural designs of the New Administrative Capital's main buildings reflect the richness and greatness of Egypt's history throughout the ages.

During a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Presidential Adviser for Urban Planning Amir Sayed Ahmed and Chairman of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Ihab el Far, Sisi also asserted the need to give adequate attention to landscaping requirements.

The president followed up with the construction and engineering progress of some projects undertaken by the authority nationwide, especially those under construction in the new capital, including an Islamic culture center, an international city for Olympic games and an international equestrian city "Marabet", according to a statement by Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.

He was also briefed on the details of the architectural drawings related to the new capital's main entry points, as well as those of the premises dedicated to the House of Representatives and the Senate.

In addition, the meeting also took up the implementation status of some national construction projects, including an integrated international bus station project north of the Suez Road intersection with the Ring Road opposite of the Cairo International Airport, and Galala City project, the spokesman noted.

Sisi also reviewed a raft of proposals to maximize the benefits of investment opportunities nationwide, making use of relevant foreign experts.

President Sisi made a tour in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) last February in order to determine the executive status of a number of neighborhoods and establishments.

He visited Egypt Islamic Cultural Center, which consists of one of the world's largest mosques as it has a capacity of 107,000 worshippers and the length of its minarets is 140 meters. The center has a number of halls for various ceremonies, and chambers for teaching Koran to men, women, and children. The establishment has a parking lot and a seven-storey parking whose capacity is 3,000 cars.Afterwards, President Sisi checked on the House of Representatives' building, which is the largest in the Middle East for it can contain 1,000 members, and spans over threefold the surface area of the current building lying in downtown Cairo

The new building consists of a main hall, worshipping areas, medical center, police department, firefighting unit, civil registry, meeting rooms, press center, information center, and training center. That is in addition to landscape. It is noted that there is a large dome above the main hall that is considered one of the biggest in the world.

Later, the president visited the Governmental Neighborhood encompassing the headquarters of the ministries, the Cabinet, and many governmental agencies to see the progress of construction works and finishing.

President Sisi concluded his visit by dropping in "People's Square" having the world's tallest flagpole, and the memorial of Egypt's martyrs having the ancient Egyptian style.
